School Of Empowerment ("SOE") have the ethos that empowerment starts within your own residence, making us unique to any other supported accommodation and education unit provider. We are a team focused on preparing young adults into independent living with a combination of high quality housing, skilled key workers and exceptional mentoring oversight.
Our Services
Working with local authorities, we provide 24/7 staffed supported accommodation to young persons aged 16+. All supported accommodation units offered are packaged with value added education, mentoring and enrichment activities supporting their journey to independent living.
We have an on call rapid response team available via local authorities’ referral within London and the South East regions. This is available to young people aged 16+ recorded as missing and/or high-risk children with the aim of returning them to safety.
We work with young people who are having difficulties managing their home by offering a floating support service via our affiliated local authority partners. This service is open to young people who have a history of; substance misuse, physical or learning disabilities, mental health issues, domestic abuse and/or unstable housing.
We have a network of mentors who provide a supporting hand to young people aged 16+ aiming to improve their employability skills and guiding them to their desired career path. Our service helps mentees gain new experiences and build confidence while teaching mentees to trust their skills and knowledge.
