Be Assessed

Working with our network of local authorities we will perform an assessment of potential new tenants with a view to housing to their needs to one of our properties accordingly.

This means understanding the specific issues a young person might be facing at the time that we initially encounter and interact with them. We have created a series of questionnaires and qualitative discussions which are focused on procuring key information. This lets us know the level of support required but more importantly it helps us to create purpose-based activities for development and milestones to monitor their progress.

Be Supported

Our key workers aid in basic/intermediary aspects of living independently and guide the young person 24/7 throughout their tenure. We invite professionals from different walks of life to put on workshops and 1-2-1 sessions to facilitate independence. If our young person expresses an interest in one of the workshops, we support those individuals with options to pursuethat activity and help them to develop a stronger interest.

We understand the importance of satisfying all needs under our remit. All young persons and their key workers have a direct avenue to connect with management to suggest future initiatives that they require. Our team continuously create new educational and enrichment resources, or establish connections with social enterprises/corporate partners which create exciting career opportunities.

Become Empowered

Once our young people have access to a nurturing environment and an abundance resources created by us to increase their capabilities, the focus shifts on measuring outcomes on their journey to independent living. We do this in direction collaboration with the young people using goals-based outcomes and strength/challenges questionnaires to continuously assess our young people’s experience in our units. We believe that having long term goals that are micromanaged into smaller goals helps these young people to have a sense of achievement throughout the process and is an effective method of development.
