Supported Accommodation

Working with local authorities, we provide 24/7 staffed supported accommodation to young persons aged 16+. All supported accommodation units offered are packaged with value added education, mentoring and enrichment activities supporting their journey to independent living.

We provide this service by ensuring that our units feel like home, the care workers understand the needs of the young people and we work with the local authority in a co-productive, collaborative manner.

All of the units have the required amenities creating a warm home environment to facilitate independent living:

  • Fully furnished room including a bed, fridge freezer, wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk and chair

  • Shared use of bathrooms and toilets at an ample ratio

  • Shared use of a fully furnished kitchen (Cooker, microwave, washer and dryer) as well as allocated drawer space for food and personal kitchen items

  • 16 point CCTV unit providing an optimum level of safety to all shared facilities

  • Fully furnished living room with television

  • Fully functional educational space, convertible into a breakout/games room.

  • Electricity, gas and water rates inclusive

  • Fibre optic internet with speeds up to 100mbps

Understanding the importance of the development of our young people - We will provide in house services which work with the needs of our young persons to improve their employability skills and career prospects:

  • Entrepreneurial workshops and work shadowing opportunities

  • Group and 1-2-1 finance sessions enabling improved money management

  • Group and 1-2-1 maths and english tuition

  • Basic cooking lessons with the aim to improve the culinary skills

  • Group self defence and conflict management classes

  • CV reviews

  • Mock interview practice sessions

  • Apprenticeships and work experience opportunities

Collaboratively working with the councils to provide a well rounded service on the young persons journey to independent living:

  • Daily logs tracking young persons status in our units

  • Weekly/Monthly summary logs provided upon request

  • Key worker staff take mandatory in house and local authority training.

  • “Open house environment” - Open inspections welcome of properties with written notice – Our local authority representatives are welcome at any of our premises, pre, during or post young person placements to quality assure our residence, staff, working environment etc.

  • Use of performance evaluation tools including self-esteem scales, goals-based outcomes and strength/challenges questionnaires.

  • A seamless contract exit process - we work with prospective new providers to ensure that we support their movement to their new residence is seamless for all parties involved.
